Our founding story.
Grain was initially founded by Carl Fassberg and Sky Gommeren, an artist and a filmmaker, from a place of discontent with the way artists were being treated in the entertainment industry. Our third cofounder, Stefan Juganu joined the team shortly thereafter to lead the technical development of the platform.
Culture.
Grain is mission-driven. We all believe that the industry around art and entertainment should be centered around the artists, not the other way around. We believe that art makes the world a beautiful place and that the creators of this beauty should be celebrated.
